Original antique lithograph by Alexander Calder published in the legendary French art review Derrière Le Miroir, edited by Aimé Maeght in Paris in 1968. This striking double-page composition is one of the original lithographs created by Calder for Derrière Le Miroir n°173. Printed by Arte under the supervision of Maeght Éditeur, the work perfectly captures Calder’s iconic visual language: floating biomorphic forms, bold black linear movement and vibrant areas of red, blue, orange and grey. Unlike later poster reproductions frequently seen on the market, this is an authentic period lithograph issued in 1968 – not a modern reproduction.
