Exceptionnel rare Schedel 1493 chronicarum God leaf incunabula incunable

Exceptionnel rare pièce issue du célèbre livre de Hartmann Schedel Liber Chronicarum publié en latin et en allemand ancien en juillet et décembre 1493. Il s’agit de la première feuille folio 1 du livre représentant Dieu sur son trône sachant que la suite porte sur l’histoire du monde et de l’humanité. La feuille a été rognée et mesure 25 x 39 cm ou 10 x 15 pouces. L’état est bon. Il apparaît quelques petits trous de ver qui n’entament pas le texte ni la gravure. Sur le bord gauche du texte au verso se trouve une légère trace d’adhésif. Une signature apparaît sur le bas gauche de la gravure dans le bouclier. Exceptional and rare leaf from the book of Hartmann Schedel wroten in latin and german. In july and december 1493. It represent the first folio with engraved God on his Trone. It is the previous woodcut of a grat book which give the tale of the world and humanity. The leaf is in good condition ans measure 10 x 15 inches as it as been cut in the borders but the text and the woodcut are not touched. There is some little holes of worms which did not have incidence in woodcut and text. A signature appears in the bottom of woodcut.
